The human body was never designed to accept chemicals and drugs. Food is the original health giver and healer and continues to be the best one.

  • Contrary to popular belief, salt is absolutely essential for the body. However, the quality of the salt used is critical. Chemically refined iodized salt is pure white only because it has its nutrients flushed out. Sejal advocates replacing it on all kitchen shelves with natural rock salt
  • Oil is necessary for cooking but here again, 'refined' is a no-no. The process remorselessly filters out the natural goodness of the oil.Several healthier options are available.
  • Milk should be consumed in very small quantities as it is acidic.
